I understand that every patient is unique, which is why I offer flexible service options to meet your specific needs.
I offer two types of counselling, in-person and remote, to provide flexibility and ensure that my clients can access the support they need in a way that suits them best.
The Australian Psychological Society recommends a fee of $280 for sessions up to 60 min. However, I charge clients a fee of $220 for a standard weekday counselling session and $240 for Saturday sessions.
Many healthcare funds offer rebates for psychological services – check with your fund for details. In most cases, private health rebates can be claimed on-site via our HICAPS facility. Unfortunately, you cannot use your private health insurance in conjunction when claiming a Medicare rebate.
Medicare Rebates can be claimed directly following your appointment via Medicare’s EasyClaim. Please bring your Medicare and debit cards to your appointment to participate.
I am very happy to work with these agencies.
I am registered to work with DVA and serving military, and I enjoy working with these clients. With interest in clients suffering from PTSD and Trauma, I utilise CBT, EMDR and ACT in my treatment strategies.
This time is reserved especially for you, the Client when appointments are made. Therefore I require 48 hours’ notice, and the following cancellation policy is in place to allow us to offer the allocated time to another person who may be on a waiting list for that appointment.
A $150 fee will be charged for cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice.
The FULL FEE will be charged for an appointment that has been missed with no notice (non-attendance).
I understand that sometimes you cannot keep an appointment because of a sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. If this happens to you, please contact me as soon as possible to explain the situation. You may call my office or email me. Thank you for your consideration.
